YOUR TRAINER
DalmatianWhy do I do what I do?

My mission is to help families and their "best freinds" reap the rewards of a bond as old as time...through understanding of canine behavior, mutual respect and repair of misunderstandings and miscommunications that lead to "bad-dog" behavior, which result in damaged relationships, abandonment and euthanasia.

The cementing of human-dog bonds is best accomplished through owner education, obedience training and whole-family participation. You will learn common-sense methods based on scientific pricinciples of actual dog behavior and instinct, and guide your dog's development into a secure and well-behaved member of our "human pack". Growing up with dogs and cats since the day I was born, I consider them a part of the family...I can't imagine living without animals. I want other people to experience the same affection and fulfillment with their pets.

My training and experience

I graduated ABC's Dog-Trainer program 2 years ago with honors, and apprenticed under other trainers in a group class setting. I've since helped over 200 group and private clients. It takes skill and patience to help individual dog-owner teams learn in a group setting, thoughtfully assess their interactions and personalities (especially where dogs can't tell us their previous experiences!), help them absorb all the knowledge they can and begin to resolve behavior problems. No two classes are ever the same. It is both a privledge and a challange which I sincerely appreciate.
