Down on the Corner

Description:  Intermediate, 4-wall 32-count line dance
Suggested Music:  "Down on the Corner" by the Mavericks
Note:  The first 16 counts will take you to all 4 corners of the room. Start on vocals.

  DIAGONAL ROCK, RECOVER, RIGHT SIDE-SHUFFLE
1,2 Cross the right foot over the left and face the left corner (11 o'clock), rock weight back onto left foot facing front again.
3 & 4 Step right foot slightly to right side, step left foot next to right on & , step right foot slightly to right side.
  DIAGONAL ROCK, RECOVER, SHUFFLE-STEP 1/4 TURN LEFT
5,6 Cross left foot over right facing right corner (1 o'clock), rock weight back onto right foot facing front again.
7 & 8 Step left foot slightly to left side with toes pointed out, step right foot beside left on & , turn body 1/4 turn to left and step left foot slightly out to new left side.
  ROCK, RECOVER, SHUFFLE-STEP 1/2 TURN RIGHT
1,2 Cross right foot over left facing left corner (7 o'clock in reference to the wall you started the dance on), rock weight back onto left foot facing straight at your new wall.
3 & 4 Turn body 1/4 turn right and step right foot slightly forward, step left foot beside right on & , turn body another 1/4 turn right to complete 1/2 turn and step right foot slightly forward.
  ROCK, RECOVER, COASTER-STEP
5,6 Cross left foot over right facing right corner (5 o-clock in reference to the wall you started the dance on), rock weight back onto right foot facing straight at your new wall.
7 & 8 Step back on left foot, step right foot beside left on & , step forward on left foot.
  STEP, STEP, TOUCH TOE FORWARD, TOUCH TOE BACK
1,2 Step forward on right, step forward on left.
3,4 Touch right toe forward, touch right toe back.
  SHUFFLE-STEP, STEP, PIVOT 1/2 TURN RIGHT
5 & 6 Step forward on right, step left next to right on & , step forward on right.
7,8 Step forward on left, pivot body 1/2 turn to right shifting weight onto right foot.
  STEP, STEP, TOUCH TOE FORWARD, TOUCH TOE BACK
1,2 Step forward on left, step forward on right.
3,4 Touch left toe forward, touch left foot back.
  SHUFFLE-STEP, STEP, PIVOT 1/2 TURN LEFT
5 & 6 Step forward on left, step right next to left on & , step forward on left.
7,8 Step forward on right, pivot body 1/2 turn to left shifting weight onto left foot.
